Since it's Enterprise, it is not eligible for the free Windows 10 upgrade. I'm curious whether another license will be eligible for the upgrade: Win 7 Pro USA English purchased via the "Ultimate Steal" program for students, circa Since I'm required to clean install, rather than upgrade, from Enterprise to Pro, I'd like to know whether it's worth my trouble.

I should have clarified: I already know that another license of Win 7 Pro hpgrade not eligible, because it was purchased through the school Univ. It either uses a MAK key, or something similar. Since that copy of Win 7 Pro is ineligible, clearly not all Pro licenses are eligible for the free Windows 10 upgrade, giving rise to my curiosity about the Ultimate Steal version.
EDIT: So, given that the statement " Windows 7 Pro will be upgraded to Windows 10 Pro" is not necessarily trueis there any word on whether entdrprise particular student version I mentioned is eligible?
